Editor’s Note: The report, images and video below were provided by an SGA-supported pastor in Ukraine.

Here is a report from SGA-supported Pastor Vitaly in Ukraine. Like other faithful servants we sponsor, Vitaly knows there is strength in numbers and gives all praise to the One who provides through His people. “We are grateful to the Lord that we have such a Christian family everywhere, such a unity among the churches.”

God is showing his kindness to people in Vitaly’s village where the Word is still preached and hurting Ukrainians continue to gather for worship. Through your generosity and prayers, He is providing food, water and emergency supplies and changing lives for eternity!

Greetings from Mykolaiv!

Peace be with you!  We continue to serve the Lord and people in times of war!

See the village of Dobra Kamianka (in the picture below). This picture was taken near the House of Prayer. In these times of the war, we see how difficult the situation is in small villages, where we have our Houses of Prayer and where believers are still gathering. We are grateful that with God’s help and yours we can continue to serve there and provide them with humanitarian aid.

Ministering to the needy.

  • We thank God for the opportunity not only to provide food, but also to have conversations, talk about God’s mercies and encourage them to pray for Ukraine!
  • For more than a year now, we have been holding two evangelistic meetings every Sunday, with more than 600 people attending each time. During this time, about 20,000 people have been registered by our church.
  • But the most important thing is that they heard the Word of God once, some of them several times, and some of them come to hear it on a regular basis. Of these, 14 have already been baptized.

Translation:

Today is Wednesday. Our brothers in Christ have arrived from the Chernivtsi region, and we are unloading the truck. We thank God for this help, for the water they delivered to us so that we can distribute this water in the Mykolaiv and Kherson regions .

This is also for those people who suffered during the flooding. We are grateful to the Lord that we have such a Christian family everywhere, such a unity among the churches.

So may the Lord bless this time when we can do God’s work together. Along with the food aid, we distribute the Word of God and can thus reach people’s hearts with the Gospel.
